Solutions

Banking

SentryBay’s solutions, which pro-actively protect against malware, phishing threats and other web-related threats, are specifically designed to protect financial transactions.
The Armored Browser – deployed as software or via a USB device – is deployed as both a corporate banking and retail banking solution and is a dedicated solution.

The Data Protection Suite is more commonly used for retail banking.

Both are (or can be) configured to protect e-commerce transactions as well as on-line banking and other bank-related transactions. The Armored Browser can be configured to support other security functions such as OTP and PKI.

The Armored Browser for Mobile provides a consistent user experience for the Armored Browser across mobile devices and tablets.

Insurance

Enhancing Security of Web Services

Within the insurance industry strong authentication and information security is important. SentryBay’s Armored Browser solution provides the necessary protection for authenticating users and effective and secure utilisation of web-based insurance services. This solution can be deployed as software or on a USB drive. It can also harness existing security infrastructures such as OTP tokens.

Enhancing Consumer Insurance Offerings

SentryBay’s consumer solutions such as the Data Protection Suite, Data Monitoring Suite, Mobile Security Suite and E-Vault provide tangible value to many insurance offerings. Such solutions are regularly provided within identity theft protection services, home insurance, mobile/gadget insurance and warranty offerings.

These solutions are both provided as retail insurance (paid by consumers monthly or annually) or included within wholesale benefit packages for bank accounts, credit cards, internet services, mobile phone packages etc.

SentryBay’s solutions are often white-listed to the insurance company, financial institution ISP service provider.

Telecommunications

Enhancing Security of Web Services
Telecommunications companies are offering more and more web-based services within their customer portal. SentryBay’s Armored Browser (link; http://www.sentrybay.com/products/index.htm#ent2) solution provides the necessary protection for authenticating users and effective and secure utilisation of such web-based services. This solution can easily be deployed as a software solution for PC’s and as a mobile app.

Enhancing Consumer Offerings

SentryBay’s consumer solutions such as the Data Protection Suite, Data Monitoring Suite, Mobile Security Suite and E-Vault provide a tangible value-add to telco services such as mobile phone insurance/warranties and broadband subscriptions/data plans for home, office and mobile.
SentryBay’s solutions can be white-listed to the telco, a sub-brand or key customers of the telco.

Government/Military

For this high security industry there are two main security solutions:
1. EntryProtect Anti-Keylogging
2. Armored Browser (including anti-phishing and anti-Keylogging)

EntryProtect – PC based applications

Using the EntryProtect technology to harden login credentials and to secure all data entry into an application overcomes one of the main security vulnerabilities. This is best achieved by licensing the EntryProtect technology and embedding with a proprietary or third party application. The technology can be “pointed” to protect key security fields (such as login credentials for administrators or users), or can be applied to protect entire sessions or all fields within the host application. EntryProtect is the deepest anti-Keylogging protection available commercially and is patent-protected to SentryBay.

Armored Browser – web-based services

Internet connectivity and the use of web-based services, while inherently insecure, are essential to maintain productivity of staff and users.
The Armored Browser creates an authenticated, secure channel for these communications and can be configured specifically to only allow certain communications or transactions.

Web-based access to classified information – while limited – must utilise a specialised, hardened browser. Blending multi-factor authentication with (or included within) the Armored Browser provides the ideal solution to address these situations. For login credentials, having the embedded EntryProtect technology protecting the credentials plus a strong second factor of authentication maximises security at the access point.

With this same technology protecting the entire session (which could mean the entire day’s activity for a staff member), this maximises security for all data entry and transmission.

Phishing threats are minimised if a staff member is limited to using the Armored Browser for their day to day activities, with it’s built in anti-phishing protection. The “open tab” allows a user to browse the web, but because the browser is locked down it does not allow malicious add-ons and minimises drive-by malware – as well as preventing phishing attacks. Spear phishing is also a big threat in these types of environments. Using the Armored Browser prevents users opening phishing pages within this browser.

Enterprise

Enhancing Security of Web Services

SentryBay’s Armored Browser solution provides the necessary protection for authenticating users and effective and secure utilisation of web-based services. This can be deployed for staff (particularly those that work remotely) plus customers using that company’s web services. The Armored Browser can be deployed as software or on a USB drive. It can also harness existing security infrastructures such as OTP tokens.

EntryProtect – for Enterprise PC based applications

Using the EntryProtect technology to harden login credentials and to secure all data entry into an application overcomes one of the main security vulnerabilities. This is best achieved by licensing the EntryProtect technology and embedding within an enterprise’s proprietary or third party application. The technology can be “pointed” to protect key security fields (such as login credentials for administrators or users), or can be applied to protect entire sessions or all fields within the host application. EntryProtect is the deepest anti-keylogging protection available commercially and is patent-protected to SentryBay.

Healthcare

There are two main drivers for adoption of security technology in Healthcare:

1. HIPAA Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act – HIPAA (privacy, customer information disclosure laws)
2. Hi-tech Act 2013 (incentive to have electronic health records and fines in line with HIPAA)

Within the US, the US Government has provided incentives totalling $19 billion to encourage healthcare organisations to move their industry to electronic data rather than paper. PHI and EHR need to be protected within the industry. Data losses result in fines any data breach involving over 600 patients must be reported to the media. Internationally similar drivers – and security risks – exist in the health care industry.

The key solution is to use the Armored Browser to protect web-based communications between health care professionals and customers – and provide secure access and use of web-based services by health care staff.
